Can I write off clothes if I put my logo on them?

Where the line sits between uniform and wardrobe.

Asked

Can I write off clothes if I add them my company logo?

Clint’s answer

If you actively work in uniform type clothing that you would not wear outside of work, this is a valid expense.

However...Clothing can be a bit of a dicey gamble if the logo is put on and not visible most of the time.

Typically most clothing with company logos are expensed as promotion and much of it is distributed to employees and clients as swag.
